Common sense! We love it, and we hope you have it. If you don't, you won't be here for long, if you even manage to get in at all. Obviously, we'll want you to check with us about big plots that may involve death, pregnancy, or any characters other than your own. And hell, if it's something big for yours too? Let. Us. Know. We're not trying to be mean, or nosey, or ruin your HUGE SURPRISE PREGNANCY plot, we just simply want to have a chance to regulate how many babies, or deaths, or... whatever other type of plots seem to plague rpgs. Trust me, IMing us to ask us about something being okay makes us feel special. And making us feel special? Always a good thing. ;)
We're all writers here. And as writers, we like to try and write correctly. Spelling, grammar, proof-reading? FRIENDS! We're not asking for beautiful and perfect posts in every single log (though it's certainly not discouraged), we're just asking that you read things over before you post. We're all human, and we all mess up, perfectly understandable.
Activity isn't really that difficult. We ask that you show some sign of life at least every week and a half, whether it's posting a thread, a log, or some other rare form of RPing. Replying to forum threads is wonderful and all, but it doesn't really count as activity. We feel activity atleast once a week is reasonable, but as always, if something is coming up that will keep you away for longer than a week, just make a post on the ooc forum, or IM/E-Mail a mod. We're very fair as long as we have some notice. With that said, a lack of activity for a week gets you a warning, and if you continue to be absent for another week after the warning, you will be removed.
Please keep in mind that this is more of a character development and character plot. While these are gods, and they do have some power, there will not be these big battle logs, not now at least. If you and some other muns decide to plot some sort of action log, we're completely fine with it. Also, please note that we're fine with action logs provided that they have meaning. In other words, they must have a point to them.
Keep OOC drama OOC, and if that's too difficult, bring it to mod and they will help you if they can. Understand that by no circumstances will OOC drama drag this game down.
The character limit is two. (for now) This may become more flexible as the game progresses, in the sense that new and important characters for plot may be offered, or some standard minor (which means temporary) characters might be available. Even so, if you have two characters, your activity will be monitored, and we reserve the right to deny you a third character if you can't keep up with the ones you have already. Also, after your second character, it'll be at least two weeks before your allowed to submit an application for another. It's just a way to control the character influx.
All logs and threads in the forum must be done in third person storybook form. You are not your character, you are their mun. Remember that.
Threads posting(such as logs) is as follows:
All of the god's powers can be used on all humans, but not necessarily the case when it comes to other gods. The powers of specific gods will only have effect on others of their ranking or below. It will already be difficult for a main god to influence a main god. Lesser gods, such as the children of main deities (Deimos, Phobos, etc.) don't have as large as effect as their parents, and are notably less in their power.
Everyone is located in Athens, Georgia. They don't have to be from here, but they will be living there now in some way or another. This is to keep everyone in the same vicinity, and make contact easier. Your characters are allowed to travel out of the city, it is by no means a cage. It is just a requirement that all characters be attracted to this city, and live in it. All journals will be in English. It might sound weird, but this is more so an ooc than ic rule.
For the sake of simplicity, all the characters right now will be gods. This will change in the future, but probably only to allow humans and demi-gods (recent demi-gods born onto earth during the 100 years.) But as it is right now they are not allowed. Don't try.
And as always, we reserve the right to add rules as we go, but we're really hoping we don't need to. All of these are pretty much standard and self-explanatory.
